Bended metal sheet pendant

|
Material:
-
950 silver metal sheet with 0,80 mm thickness
-
Round 950 silver wire with approximately 1 mm diameter (to go into the opening of the sphere)
-
1 sphere with hole (gem, pearl or other material)
-
Silver solder
-
Sawframe and metal saw blades
-
Metal files
-
Round and flat pliers
-
Drill bit with the same diameter as the silver wire
-
Emery papers: grains 280- 320- 400- 600
-
Polishing compound (Tripoli and rouge)
-
Polishing brushes (denim and cotton)
-
Araldite glue

On an adhesive paper tape make the drawing of the body of the pendant, with the opening.
Glue it on top of the metal sheet.

Saw the metal sheet and drill a hole where the opening will be to pass the saw blade. |

Saw the opening, and then file and sandpaper the metal and finally anneal it. Check out the Metal page.

Bend it using the round plier.
|
|
Solder on the junction.
|

With the drill bit make a hole to fit the pin in (round wire for the sphere). |
 |
Solder the wire and clean the piece with sulphuric acid or a substance to pickle it.
Use the last two emery papers and polish your piece with the specific polishing compounds (tripoli and rouge).

Glue the stone with the Araldite glue. |
